Single Check Rebates

Lets cover Rite Aids Single Check Rebates first as this is key to lots of freebies at this store.  You will see SCR mentioned on my Coupon Match-up page for Rite Aid.  SCR is the acronym we use for Single Check Rebate’s.  As with most promo’s there are some very important rules you will need to know in able for you to get the biggest bang for your buck.

SCR Rules:

SCR Rule #1:  Single Check Rebates are just that.  You can receive only one rebate check per month.  After purchasing an item that is advertised as having a SCR you simply need to create a Rite Aid SCR account here, log in to the Rite Aid SCR system and then enter your receipt numbers as indicated.  Multiple purchases for items qualifying for Single Check Rebates can be made during the month so multiple receipts can be entered.  After the month has ended you will need to request your Single Check Rebate.  I think it is best to do this on the very first of that month.  So, you may have entered 4 receipt numbers into the SCR system for purchases you made during January. On February 1st you should request your Single Check Rebate.

SCR Rule #2: You can only receive a rebate on one of each item.  You cannot purchase two of the same product and expect to get the rebate x2.  Only one rebate per like item will be paid out in the Single Check Rebate.

SCR Rule #3: Items advertised as offering a single check rebate will be tagged in the store with very obvious yellow tags.

SCR Rule #4: Be sure to check the quantity required to receive the rebate.  I suggest verifying it by looking at the yellow tag next to the product.

SCR Rule #5: Rite Aid will allow you to continue to enter receipts for items purchased in the previous month provided you have not requested the Single Check Rebate yet.  As I stated above, I suggest you enter your receipts as soon as you get home from shopping (so you don’t forget like me) and then stick to a specific day (1st of the month) to request your single check rebate to get your $$$  ASAP!

SCR Rule #6: The single check rebate is a check that can be deposited directly into your cheking account just like any other check.

SCR Rule #7: Rite Aid will also cash the Single Check Rebate checks and you don’t have to spend the cash in the store.  They will cash it for you just like a bank would.

SCR Rule #8: Make sure you check that you are purchasing during the time period the rebate is offered.  Some rebates are offered during the entire month while others are only offered during a specific week.  The “offer valid” dates indicate when you need to make the purchase of the item.

Here is an example of what a rebate listing will look like in Rite Aid’s SCR website:

January 2010
Rebate #89

up to $2.00 Rebate on GE Lighting

Coupons

Rite Aid has a weekly flier with coupons which you can also match up with non-Rite Aid Manufacturer Coupons.  Video Value (VV) coupons state “manufacturer coupon”, but, can be stacked with a non-Rite Aid Manufacturer Coupon.

Rite Aid accepts manufacturer coupons and Rite Aid coupons for the purchase of a single item. However, no coupon’s redemption amount can ever exceed the price of the item.

Only one manufacturer coupon is accepted for each product, unless coupled with another “manufacturer coupon” found in a Rite Aid circular. For some reason Rite Aid decided to print “Manufacturer Coupon” on their store coupons.  Don’t let this confuse you.  If there is a Rite Aid logo on it it is a STORE Coupon.  Video Value coupons considered to be Manufacturer Coupons and are not a store coupon.

Rite Aid may accept multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers within the store.  This is at the manager’s sole discretion.

Rite Aid reserves the right to limit bulk purchases of items if the purchase will deplete our supply for other customers.

Rite Aid only accepts coupons printed off the internet from manufacturer’s websites, emails and coupon websites up to a maximum of $5.00 off per item as long as the coupon redemption amount never exceeds the price of the item.  Rite Aid coupons are not considered internet/print at home coupons, even when they are printed from an internet site or an email, and therefore these coupons only are not subject to the $5.00 limit.

Total Purchase Coupons

From time to time, Rite Aid may feature total purchase coupons which discount the total purchase amount based upon meeting specific requirements. For example, $5 off a $25 purchase price threshold coupon.

Any manufacturer coupons that may be presented with a total purchase coupon will be deducted after the purchase total has been determined.

Rite Aid may accept more than one total purchase coupon as long as each total purchase coupon is used in separate transactions with each transaction meeting the minimum purchase requirements. Rite Aid reserves the right to limit the number of total purchase coupons that may be used by a customer in a single day.

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons

When items are featured on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the item being purchased.

If a customer presents a Buy One Get One Free coupon for the purchase of two items that are on a Buy One Get One Free promotion; we accept the coupon, essentially making both items free.

Be advised that the cash register will compute any sales tax due, which sales tax varies and is defined by applicable state law. Internet/Print at Home

Sale Items

Rite Aid will accept coupons for an item that is on sale.
In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Rite Aid will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.
